Jilli Gone Wild

This girl can be a lot to handle sometimes. There is no other word for her except wild (and sweet). She needs constant supervision and if she is quiet, you definitely need to go looking for her. Or send Drew to find her, like I do sometimes. This day I found her admiring her bathtub art work, luckily it cleaned up pretty easy. I am going to have to watch her, I just know my walls are in for it.

She climbs up on the step stool, on to the toilet and into the sink. The first time she did this was at the Long's house. Later this afternoon she climbed up into the sink again and turned the water on, she was soaked.
This is before the soaking. Isn't my girl beautiful. She looks so big in this picture, I think her hair is helping out this looking her age thing.
I am not in love with this camera. So times the pictures are perfect and other times they look grainy. I am a little disappointed.

Matching Jams

So the kids have these cutie matching pajamas. Jillian's jams say I love Daddy and Drew's say I love Mommy. Andy bathed the kids and tried to get a picture of them sitting together and this is what happened next. These are the better attempts too. It was a valiant effort by Andy.

You can see how long Jillian's hair is getting in the back. Can anyone say mullet? The cutest mullet I have ever seen, if I do say so myself.
Fighting over a brush. Why is that they only want something when the other one has it?
That foot block again.
These two are wild!!!

Snow Angels and Cocoa

Sunday morning we woke up to snow on the ground. I took Drew to the window to show him a "surprise." His eyes got really big and he said "It's Christmas!!" He wasn't too disappointed when I told him it wasn't Christmas yet, but he could go outside and play in the snow today. When Jilli went down for her morning nap the boys bundled up for some snow fun.
Cheese!
Drew and daddy made snow balls and snow angels. Not quite enough for a snowman. I am sure that time will come soon enough.
The girls had fun in the snow too, the cold air makes them frisky.
Dad pulled little man around on the sled and then Drew decided he wanted to pull the sled.
Time to come in and warm up.
I made the boys some hot cocoa with marshmallows. Drew was excited until he saw the cup. Then it took some convincing that more than coffee could go in the coffee cup. He knows that coffee is for adults only, so he was a little confused.
He ate the marshmallows first :)

Snug as a Bug

Jilli bundled up to face the snow on Saturday while we were shopping. She looks thrilled, doesn't she?

The Henke Thanksgiving

I did take very many pictures, oops. We came up Saturday morning, had Thanksgiving dinner in the early afternoon. It was so yummy. I then tried to lay Jillian down for a nap and she was adamant that she wasn't going into that pack in play. So after rocking her and multiple attempts t0 lay her down, I finally laid down with her. It was the first time she had taken a nap with me on a bed since she was a tiny baby. She laid down in the pack and play fine for Andy that night. Both of the kids know that I am the softy of the two. When we woke up, all the adults played Trivial Pursuit and Andy and I won, yeah! Just in case anyone wonders a koala is marsupial (it has a pouch) even though they are called koala bears and a baby koala is a joey not a cub. I should not listen to my husband. Payton, McKenzie, Drew and Jillian watched Monsters Inc. Aren't they cute.

Wonder how my dryer gets broken?

Earlier in the week I had to have someone come out and fix the dryer. I can't imagine why it doesn't work properly, it is supposed to be multifunctional as child entertainment too, right? The kids follow me to the washer and dryer every time I go and usually Jillian pulls all the laundry out of the dryer on to the floor for me. How helpful. This day she decided to climb on in.
Drew thought it looked fun and decided to join her.
The next pictures crack me up. All is great in the picture below.
"Oh no, Jillian is grabbing me."

That little stinker looks kinda of proud of herself for annoying brother.
I am so over the dryer. She has had her fun and is going to skedaddle.
Now it is a chore to keep them out of the dryer. My own fault I guess.

Spikey Hair

When Drew uses the potty he gets a potty treat, which is usually chocolate or gummies. But this day's treat was spikey hair. He would get a good laugh when checking himself out in the mirror.

There are mirrors in the back of the entertainment center.
Cute Goose. I started getting worried about Lucy. Everyone that saw her, they would comment on how much weight she has lost and how skinny she is. So of course I started thinking of the worse case scenario. We called our old vet and her last weight there was 87lbs and we weighed her at home at 72lbs. 15 pounds I thought that was a lot, it is over 17% of her original weight. It is hard to tell if she is acting sick because she is pretty lethargic on a everyday basis. We called the vet and told him she has lost 15 lbs in a little over a year and they wanted us to bring her in. The weighed her at the vet and she was 69 lbs, even worse. Doc checked her out and said she is at the perfect weight and appears to be very healthy. All the furries yearly check-ups are in December. He said that if she lost more weight by then, he would start running some tests. They would start looking at digestive problems first.

Balloon Hair

I don't know if you can tell, but Drew has a little shiner and bruise on his cheek from busting his face on the end table while going from the chair to the couch. OUCH!
Andy bought the kids some balloons and Jilli's hair was attracted to them (they are kind of cute).
She didn't even notice.
