Church Cuties

My angels all dressed up for church. Check out that girl's wild hair, all I can say is that we tried.
Cheese!
They switched roles today - Jillian went right into her room no fuss and Drew was crying and holding on to his daddy's shirt. I was outside, I could be no part of that. He did fine though after a few minutes in there and even told the teacher when he had to go potty. Yeah!

Cutie Browns

The most loyal dog anyone could ask for. She is so sweet. She goes everywhere I go, usually along with her sister. It is really sweet but at the same time drives me crazy. Sometimes I feel like I must have Velcro or tape on my shins.
So cute, how could anyone get irritated with this face.

Growing up so fast - he is shaving now??

Dad applying some shaving cream with a nice little brush.
Shaving away his whiskers.
Smooth as a baby's butt, he should remember it wasn't that long ago.

Snow Day

This past weekend was the first weekend in a long time with no plans. It worked out perfect because Saturday we woke up to about 3-4 inches of snow. Drew was super excited and we decided to take Jillian out for her first play in the snow. Both of the munchkins saying cheese. I take so many pictures, this is a definite word Jillian has down.
The first steps!
A slight look of confusion.
The realization that is a little harder to walk in snow especially with 3 layers of clothes on.
Jillian spent most of her time clearing the snow off any surface she could find. Picnic table, stairs, trailer, swing set - anything and everything.
Drew zooming down the snow covered slide.
More clearing
The boys got out their shovels to make a snow fort.

Jillian sliding down into a pile of snow at the bottom.

Guess who was out playing in the snow today too. It was Shannon, Brett, Owen and Emily. The boys came down the road on the four wheeler and the girls followed with a sled. Jillian ran up to Owen and gave some emphatic jibbering. He then said something back to her like she was making perfect sense. Hmmmm....
Jillian, Mr. Brett, Owen and Emily (half buried in snow).
Drew pulling Jillian in the Long's sled while Owen pushed with the shovel.
Drew is a strong little man, he pulled her all by himself pretty far.
Owen building a snow dragon.
Drew taking a ride with Mr. Brett on his four wheeler.

The Amazing Potty Training Drew!

Drew has made huge potty training leaps in one week. He is now peeing standing up. That took some convincing. He started by just leaning and peeing into the toilet. Then I told him to hold his penis and aim it. He asked if I would hold it and I politely declined. Now he is standing holding his penis and aiming.
For the past five days he has only pooped in the toilet. He has also been waking up at night to pee and 90% of the time he is dry in the morning. So awesome!!! Now I just need to convince him that his pants and underwear don't need to be completely off every time and that he can pee sitting down if he has to poop too.
So when Drew has to poop he asked me if I want to watch the poop come out of his butt, like it is an invitation only treat and I am special. So I usually go, but he gets distracted by me and starts acting silly. So I told him the other day that I was going to give him some privacy so he could do his business. Then of course I had to explain the whole privacy thing to him. The next day, Andy is giving the kids a bath and Drew is going potty before he gets in, Jilli is already in the tub (an important fact to the story). Drew want to close the door and Andy says no that he need to keep an eye on sister in the tub. Then Drew sternly says to him " Dad I need some privacy." Andy oblivious to our talk the day before, can't keep from cracking up.

Little Boy Meets Cadbury Creme Egg - Love at First Taste

Just before the meeting - just a cute picture of my little man. He looks so big in this picture. How the heck is he growing up so fast?
So these eggs really gross me out. Not only are they too rich, but the gooey inside is such a turn off. How can we make chocolate undesirable - how about a runny inside that is white and yellow (for the yolk) ugh. Who was the genius with this idea? It almost makes me gag just describing it.
Anyway, Andy likes them and I bought him some for his lunch. Drew spied them and asked his dad about them. Andy left one behind after the obvious excitement over the chocolate Easter egg. After he ate his entire lunch while sis was sleeping he dug into the egg and loved it. He is a full blown chocoholic.
When I came over to check on lunch progress Drew shhhed me and told me to be quiet, Jillian was sleeping. What a considerate brother.

Asleep Again

So the effects of trying to phase out the morning nap include one very sleepy lunch time Jilli.
I was in the living room and I have not idea how long she was out, but she was not easy to wake. I am thinking that it was a while because she only ate I square of her grilled cheese and she usually eats them all (it is her fav).
It looks horribly uncomfortable - poor sleepy sis.

Little Miss New Boots

Jillian got her first pair of snow boots from neighbor Emily. So we had to try them on and she loved them. Nice belly hanging out- that can only be cute on a toddler. No adult can get away with that.
It kind of looks like someone vomitted pepto all over my little girl :)
