Drew's First Soccer Game

Drew's first soccer game was today. It looked to be a little up in the air for Drew at first. When coach Lisa ( in the red hoodie) called him in, he said he didn't want to play and that he needed to rest.
It took a little convincing, but he went out there and ran around.
Never once did he kick the ball during the game, but he didn't cry which happen a couple times for a few team mates.
He had fun and he did get to throw the ball in once.
Drew's strategy - listen in on the other coach.
After the game everyone put their hands in and said "go tornadoes!"
Drew told me after the game that he won and he was the toughest in the world :)

Brother and Sister Hugs

Lately Jillian has been giving Drew the biggest hugs and of course he hugs right back. Could they make me anymore in love with them? Doubtful.
Jillian is usually on her tip toes and Drew is kind of hunched over.
They end result is almost always falling over which makes them giggle. This time the couch saved them from hitting the floor.
I should probably print one of these off and save for their teenage years when they say they hate each other and I can just tune them out and look at my loving children.

April Fools - I can't believe no one fell for it!!!!

In the post titled Jillian's big news she was wearing a BIG sister shirt.
I was expecting some screaming phone calls and excited emails, but instead I got nothing.
Either no one really reads this thing, they didn't notice her shirt or everyone figured out it was a April Fool's joke.
Here is the cutie girl in a more appropriate LIL' sister shirt.
Please notice both sets of pictures were taken on the first.

Jillian's Big News - 2 Hours Late

Party girl posing with her St. Patty's day beads.
Giving her bear some lovin.
Reading one the Roberts' household most popular books about Halloween.
Jillian saying " Ahh ahh ahh" like the vampire.
Cutie Girl!!

Cats

Roxy cuddled up with her own species. Right in the middle of the chaos of the living room.

She is becoming more tolerant of the kids as they learn to be more gentle. Drew is really winning her over because he gets to give her treats.
So Cute - Meow!

Spring Snow

Drew insisted that he and dad go play in the "snow." They were calling for up to a foot in some places but we got more on the sleet and ice end of it with about of inch of snow to top it off. I think Uncle Bryce, Aunt Tammy and Baby Claire got more snow than we did. Places east I heard up to 7 inches.
Drew and his pathetic portable snowman that his dad built him. The grass hair was a nice touch.

Jilli's Donalds

Jillian will put on any one's underwear when she can find them. It is pretty funny, because sometimes both legs are in one hole or her arms are in the hole. This day she insisted on Drew's underwear, so she wore the Donalds all day and night over her clothes.
The next day and the insisting continued. Below she is wearing her hat because she saw Drew put his on to go play in the snow and of course wanted to do the same.
We were coloring while the boys were out in the 2 inches of snow/sleet/ice. I think that we were the smarter ones.
If she were an adult she would look like a mental ward patient. Andy kept telling her he liked her overwear.

Big Girl Table

So I thought I would try Jilli out at the big table in her booster (still strapped in - a must).
She did pretty well, but started pushing her self away from the table with her legs. Then she couldn't reach the food and I would hear about it.
She definitely has my taste buds - loves tomatoes, doesn't care for shrimp or eggs so much.
Jillian shoveling in the grape tomatoes.
Cheeks full o tomato!
What a funny girl and funny pictures.
