Swimming at Uncle Brett's

After all of our doctor's appointments and then some wine with my friend Friday, Drew and Jillian went home with Nana Saturday morning. Andy and I had big plans for scrapping popcorn ceilings and painting. They left early that morning, made a pit stop at Nana and Papa's house and then on to Aunt Anne's and Uncle Brett's house for some swimming.

Above Jillian is taking a ride on the raft and below is going to McKenzie. Jillian loved the water and my mom said she did not want to get out even though she was so cold her teeth were chattering.

Drew started out slow in the water as usual, but by the end was jumping to Payton and Aunt Anne off the side.

He was also putting his face in the water while wearing Payton's yellow goggles. This picture cracks me up. This kid can not stop talking about swimming at Uncle Brett's house. I think we are going to skip any fall sports and start some swimming lessons for both of them while he is all about swimming.

So Andy and I did make some progress on the house, but no where near what we had planned. The scrapping of the ceilings went well, it was the never ending painting of the 13 foot ceilings. It took 3 gallons for just the living room ceiling.
