Thursday the 8th was Andy's birthday and Elvis's too if he is still out there. No big to do, but a nice family meal all together. The kids and I made daddy a happy birthday poster. Someday when they are 15 and 17 we will look back at how tiny their hands were. Yes, I am sure that I will still have it, I save almost everything and it drives Andy coconuts. (explanation: Drew is always talking about coconuts, I am not sure why, but sometimes "oh nuts" become " oh coconuts" and "you are driving me nuts" becomes .....)
Andy is 33 if the candles were a clear enough hint. After I sang happy birthday to Andy and Drew sang Itsy Bitsy Spider (at the same time) Drew helped daddy blow out his candles.
Tirimisu is not really a child friendly cake, but daddy likey. Jillian and Drew kind of picked at their pieces.
Presents!
I asked Drew what he wanted to get daddy for his birthday and he said bubble gum. Drew has never had gum before, so I am not sure where he got this in his head. But I am sure it was with the intentions of daddy sharing. So Drew and I went to pick up daddy's cake and balloons and picked out a birthday gift of bubble gum for the 33 year old. I am sure his orthodontist would not approve. Andy did share and Drew experience his first 3 pieces of gum very quickly because he kept swallowing them even after I explained to him you were supposed to chew it for a while. The remaining gum balls went in the potty treat jar and he loves it. He is getting the idea to keep it for more than 3 seconds.
Jilli tangled in the balloons.
Happy Birthday Daddy! You're the best!

Christmas Grass
Santa brought Roxy this little grow your own grass kit. What a healthy snack. I wonder why is is so appealing to cats. What ever it is, she enjoys it.

Mystical Blue Eyes
Jilli got her daddy's beautiful smokey grey blue eyes. She will be mesmerizing the boys with those in a few years, watch out.

Drew visits the Dentist
Drew first went to the dentist in June, but it was just a getting to know the place kind of visit (the doctor counted and looked at his teeth). Today was the first cleaning and X-rays. Andy took Drew and they didn't have to take any x-rays over, because he held still like a big boy. Andy said that they seemed pretty impressed with how well he did.
Drew looks very interested in what the dental hygienist is doing. Drew wore his new "sneakers" as he calls them to the dentist and he said that he was going to be sneaky in them. His cute and comfy outfit is from Aunt Tammy and Uncle Bryce - thanks guys he loves it.
Andy said that he did great and held still, but his clenched fist in this picture makes me think he was a little anxious about the whole process. We tried to prepare him as much as we could.
Yeah!! The dentist is fun. No cavities, 10 teeth on the top and 10 teeth on the bottom, good spacing and a small overbite. Success! Drew got a bouncy ball and bag of goodies, including Buzz Lightyear floss and a green balloon.
I was sad that I missed it. I was supposed to be sleeping and so was Jillian, but as you can tell by the "supposed" neither of us were. Sissy and I probably needed some alone time together and the boys did just fine by themselves :)Posted by The Roberts Crew at 2:51 AM 0 comments
Pillow Castle, Fort or Cave Anyone?
So Andy has started something. He built Drew a pillow fort in our room once and since then Drew has been crazy for pillow construction. Usually I find him with a pile of pillows in our bedroom playing around. Well this morning, Andy and Drew gathered all the pillows from upstairs and built in the living room. I think this is the pillow fort.
Jilli thinks it is way to early for all this crazy business and picture taking, geesh. My favorite part about this picture is Drew chessin the background. He is a very much a morning kid, 99% of the time he wakes up in a great mood.
Jillian on the other hand is like her mama, not a morning girl. She definitely needs time to wake up. She wakes up every morning crying. School days may be a struggle with the bean.Posted by The Roberts Crew at 2:40 AM 0 comments
Jilli Tantrum
You would think that some horrible tragedy has occurred in this little girl's day, when in actuality she is upset because I won't let her climb into Drew chair while he is getting fingerprinted. Poor baby girl just doesn't understand reasoning yet, I just cleaned all the ink off of her and put her shirt back on.

Fingerprints
So I ordered these Child ID kits sometime in November and our little mishap at Gordman's with Drew made me think maybe we should fill them out. I would have taken pictures of us fingerprinting Jillian, but it was a two man struggle. As you can tell she managed to get some ink on her face. This doesn't surprise me with little miss crazy wild hands ( I have thought about a legal name change).
Drew took this picture while we were cleaning up Jilli, I guess he was bored.
Drew was much more cooperative. Plus I had the advantage of a professional fingerprinter. I knew 7 years in law enforcement would come in handy at some point.
So you fingerprint your kids, fill out their info and take a mug shot of them every year. Then store it away and pray that you never need to give it to the police to help find your child.
If you want a free kit for your munchkin, I got them at www.klaaskids.org Posted by The Roberts Crew at 2:24 AM 0 comments

Meet Baby Henke!!
Last week Bryce and Tammy had a 3D/4D ultrasound. I was so thankful that they invited me. It was completely amazing. Our little baby cousin was not the least bit shy, yeah!
If you couldn't figure it out, she is a girl and she is due to arrive around mid to late March.
