Thursday the 8th was Andy's birthday and Elvis's too if he is still out there. No big to do, but a nice family meal all together. The kids and I made daddy a happy birthday poster. Someday when they are 15 and 17 we will look back at how tiny their hands were. Yes, I am sure that I will still have it, I save almost everything and it drives Andy coconuts. (explanation: Drew is always talking about coconuts, I am not sure why, but sometimes "oh nuts" become " oh coconuts" and "you are driving me nuts" becomes .....)
Andy is 33 if the candles were a clear enough hint. After I sang happy birthday to Andy and Drew sang Itsy Bitsy Spider (at the same time) Drew helped daddy blow out his candles.
Tirimisu is not really a child friendly cake, but daddy likey. Jillian and Drew kind of picked at their pieces.
Presents!
I asked Drew what he wanted to get daddy for his birthday and he said bubble gum. Drew has never had gum before, so I am not sure where he got this in his head. But I am sure it was with the intentions of daddy sharing. So Drew and I went to pick up daddy's cake and balloons and picked out a birthday gift of bubble gum for the 33 year old. I am sure his orthodontist would not approve. Andy did share and Drew experience his first 3 pieces of gum very quickly because he kept swallowing them even after I explained to him you were supposed to chew it for a while. The remaining gum balls went in the potty treat jar and he loves it. He is getting the idea to keep it for more than 3 seconds.
Jilli tangled in the balloons.
Happy Birthday Daddy! You're the best!
