Momma Napping

This is me trying to catch some z's. The amazing thing is that I do actually fall asleep with all these crazies on top of me. It happens a lot.

Amazed by my little girl!

So last night Jillian was in the kitchen and I was in the living room and Andy said "did you hear that." Of course I didn't, but then she did it again. Jillian counted to 10. I didn't teach her this, it must be our amazing new school. We count things and Drew counts all the time, but I was in no way teaching her this. Jillian also recognized about 90 percent of the alphabet and points them out all the time, which seemed to impressed the pediatrician. If only the little stink could get her colors straight. Everything seems to be boo (blue).

Crazy Bed Head

This morning takes the cake for craziest bed head ever. She does pretty well when I comb out her hair in the mornings. Not too many complaints, the problem is getting her to hold still.I cracked up the minute I saw her. I wonder what she does in that bed at night, somersaults? She has to be moving around a lot, I guess we are lucky she hasn't fallen out of bed yet.
I love this girl!!

Student of the Week

Each week a kid in the green room is designated student of the week and you make a bulletin board about yourself (actually your parents make it, or in this case your mother makes it).
Here are his friends that were in class that day. Drew and I were telling his friends about all of his pictures and you could just tell how proud he was. It was super cute.

Finally the End of T-ball

T-ball has been a complete disaster. Not only was my child not totally interested, it was completely unorganized. The last "game" was no different. We were supposed to have a game and then awards, 615 and no other team. Andy went in and we found out no other team wasn't coming. The kids ran the bases and then got their medals. Some how Jillian ended up with one too.
I have no pictures until it was over because I spent most of the time consoling Drew and disciplining other peoples' children. Two of his teammates' older sisters threw rocks at Drew, called him a loser and he got pushed down by another kid. He must be girl crazy because he kept wanting to play with the girls again even after they were being mean. I told them we don't play with mean kids, we have plenty of nice friends. I was fuming!
Our friends the Nicholson boys. All four kids were trying to carry their cooler together, it was pretty cute.

It was so hot that evening, which made it even more tortuous. Look at all these red faced munchkins.

I can not stress how glad I am that this is over. We need a break from sports.

Swimming at Uncle Brett's

After all of our doctor's appointments and then some wine with my friend Friday, Drew and Jillian went home with Nana Saturday morning. Andy and I had big plans for scrapping popcorn ceilings and painting. They left early that morning, made a pit stop at Nana and Papa's house and then on to Aunt Anne's and Uncle Brett's house for some swimming.
Above Jillian is taking a ride on the raft and below is going to McKenzie. Jillian loved the water and my mom said she did not want to get out even though she was so cold her teeth were chattering.
Jillian taking a ride on Nana'a legs, my mom used to do this with us when we were kids.
Drew started out slow in the water as usual, but by the end was jumping to Payton and Aunt Anne off the side.
He was also putting his face in the water while wearing Payton's yellow goggles. This picture cracks me up. This kid can not stop talking about swimming at Uncle Brett's house. I think we are going to skip any fall sports and start some swimming lessons for both of them while he is all about swimming.
So Andy and I did make some progress on the house, but no where near what we had planned. The scrapping of the ceilings went well, it was the never ending painting of the 13 foot ceilings. It took 3 gallons for just the living room ceiling.

2 Year Check Up

Friday morning we has Jillian's 2 year well baby check up. Here are her stats:

Height: 34.25 inches - 67th percentile.
Weight: 27.2 lbs - 54th percentile.
Head circumference: I don't remember the actual number and they didn't write it down on my sticker, but was the 72nd percentile.

She has gained 3 lbs and grown 2 inches in the past 6 months.

Jillian got two shots that morning and was not happy about that at all. She was quickly comforted by a sucker (at 900 in the morning).

Fridays total was 4 doctors appointments. Jilli at 830, Nana at the eye doctor at 930, me for stupid biometric screening for work at 1015 and Drew had a dentist appointment at 300 that afternoon. Drew did great and had now cavities. Next dentist visit is for both kids, Yikes!

Playing with New Toys

Every couple of days we open one or a couple of Jillian's new toys.
We still haven't played with them all yet. I bet that will happen this weekend when I am at work.
They really liked this toy where you cut up veggies, fruit and bread. Then we velcro them all back together and do it again.
Lucy the demon dog and a peeking Pablo.
Jilli loves this shopping cart. Anything that plays music she loves.
Thanks Aunt Anne and Uncle Brett.
A smiling sis with her new bass pro shirt on and matching meme. We fish sat for the Long's and they brought the kids t-shirts back from their Branson trip. So nice those neighbors of ours.
