Weston Red Barn Farm

This Saturday we went apple picking (apple hunting as Drew refers to it). We went to Weston, MO to the Weston Red Barn Farm (http://www.westonredbarnfarm.com/). They had apple hunting, a corn maze, hay rides, pony ride, pumpkins, farm animals, food and a store.
They had a area with gigantic pumpkins and mums, kinda of a photo op place. My children would not sit together. They were too busy exploring.
Jillian trying to give the pumpkin the five finger discount.
Mom ruining the fun.
One child sitting, one child refusing to take pictures.
They had this beautiful archway with gourds growing across it. You can see them in all different sizes hanging down from the arch. I thought this was a pretty cool picture.
We saw and smelled lots of animals. Pony rides were in a barn up the path, we decided to pass on that one. It was hot out that day and the kids were running on car naps. So we looked around a little and then hunted apples. We will have to come back for a hay ride and corn maze sometime.
Drew liked this goat.
Some noisy and snippy geese.
This rooster is having a permanent bad feather day. They don't have hair.
Turkey meet turkey.
It's Wilbur!! At least that is what I told Drew. He laughs at Charlotte's Web.
A baby cow curled up and napping.
Try picking that one up little girl. I heard one mom tell her kids they could have any pumpkin they wanted as long as they could pick it up. Good rule I think. We didn't have to worry about pumpkis because we have our own personal pumpkin supplier - Papa!
If she would have just looked up, what a perfect pose.
Beautiful flower.
Beautiful girl.
While Jilli and I were waiting for the boys to pay for our apples and Drew's truck, Jillian entertained her self by putting hay in the chair with no seat. Whatever works.

I was trying to get a picture of the kids together before we left, but of course it didn't work. Drew ran off angry because we were leaving.
Drew on the ride home, cooling off, literally and emotionally. He says that the flash from the camera hurts his eyes.
This is a picture (with the flash - it is automatic) of Drew telling me that the flash hurts his eyes. He is so animated.
