Valentine's Jilli Bean

Jillian in her Valentine's outfit ready to go to the doctor for her 18 month check up. Last year my friend Jill had these valentine's outfits for her little ones so I snatched one up when they went on clearance - kind of a must for anything from Gymboree.

A headless Nana in the background was there to help us out this week. For those of you who don't know I have another job now. I work every other weekend 7a - 7p Saturday and Sunday. It is not so bad except for when I get off Sunday at 7:00 pm I have to come home visit the kids, take a shower and then go to my regular job at 10:00 pm. So Monday when I get home I am exhausted and mom was there to let me sleep the day away (at least until Jilli's appointment).

A perfect picture of Jillian's mullet. Don't cry Jilli, you won't have a mullet forever.
Jilli's 18 month appointment went well - the doctor said that she is perfect (this I already knew). Nana stayed home with Drew- played Candy Land, popped popcorn and watched Louis (Meet the Robinsons). So Jillian had her dad and me to herself. I can't remember a time it was just the three of us. She kept looking over at Drew's empty car seat with a confused look on her face. I think she enjoyed the attention at the doctor's office.

Here are her 18 month stats:
  • Weight - 24.2 lbs - 48th percentile
  • Height - 32.25 inches - 67th percentile

She had gained a little over a pound since her 15 month appointment and grown 2.5 inches. I knew she had a growth spurt - we had to buy some new clothes and new shoes. I am sure that there is some technical error in her height measurements because that seem like a lot to grow in just 3 months, but either way it is definitely apparent that she is getting taller and leaner everyday.
