Saturday after a day of family haircuts (excluding the bean) we went home and grilled and enjoyed the warm weather. We put Jillian in the pack and play, but that didn't last very long, she wanted part of the yard action.
Little man and his freshly trimmed hair taking a breather. When Drew got his hair cut, the lady bribed him with a cookie. A short bread girl scout cookie with chocolate on the bottom. He took one bite and realized it had chocolate. So he tried to eat just the chocolate off the bottom, which gave him the most hilarious messy face. If only I had my camera then. All the stylist got a good chuckle from him. After his hair cut I told Drew to tell the lady thank you, so he said "thank you lady." He did just what I asked, what can I say. After haircuts (we were at the Legends), we had pretzels and played at the fountain. Drew had a blast and Jillian was entertained. Again a camera would have been nice. Drew is such a copy cat, unfortunately that copying applies to inappropriateness also. Kids were taking coins out of the fountain and spraying each other and I had to tell Drew those kids were being rude and that was no no's. Where were the 20 kids' parents, who just lets their kids play unsupervised by a fountain? Apparently the majority.
This was Jillian's first experience with grass. I tried to stand her on it at first and she kept pulling her feet up. She didn't seem to mind sitting on the grass.
This less than stellar picture took about 10 minutes of convincing Drew to sit by his sister and the moment was short lived. This is the only one of them together.
Here is Jillian, before her mini melt down. Isn't she the cutest little girl?
