Finally Our Tree

So less than a week to go till Christmas and we are finally putting up our tree. We put in the kids' Christmas CD's and were ready to make it look like Christmas time around the Roberts house.

The kids enjoyed sitting on the box.....

What good helpers, they emptied the box for us.

and sitting and playing in the box.

We had to take them out and put the box downstairs because it was starting to tear.

Drew was in charge of putting on the biggest part, the topper.

Andy putting down the tree skirt and the kids are being ever so helpful.

I decided to distract them with our Christmas toys.

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells!

Once we got out the ornaments it was quickly apparent that it was past Jillian's bed time. She was in to them in a second and was not happy with all the no no's. Then Drew was in charge of putting on the candy canes.

Drew is always wanting me to watch him and his "cool tricks." Today's cool trick was the jump and spin, but some times it is a super duper jump and spin or super duper fast run. What a funny boy.

The boys carefully put on the ornaments and then Drew helped me wrap some presents to take to Nana and Papa's house. He was in charge of holding the wrapping paper while I cut it and putting on the bows.

I will add a picture of the finished tree with all the loot after Santa visits.
