Jillian's Check Up

Jillian's check up went pretty well. She probably has a different opinion. They had to dig some impacted wax out of her ear - she did not appreciate this. Then 3 shots put her over the top. Not a happy girl, but it didn't last long. She wasn't crabby or anything the rest of the day. Below are some videos of Andy and I trying to teach her the meaning of SHHHHH! She tries to bite my finger when I put it up to her lips. This little stink may be a biter. She has bit me twice lately and she bit Nana last time she was up. Not in anger, just bites for no reason.

Her Stats:

Height - 29 3/5 inches - 30th percentile

Weight - 22 lbs 14 oz - 52th percentile

Her head was in the 90th percentile again.

The doctor wants us to see a cardiologist. Jillian has a persistent heart murmur. He thinks it is a Still's murmur which is innocent, but it is very apparent and has been heard since 9 months. So just to be on the safe side, we are having it checked out. I can't image how I will hold her still if she need an echo. It made me a little panicky and still does if I think about it too much. One web site I looked at referred to a Still's murmur as a musical heart. So I like to say Jillian has a musical heart - something I already knew :)
