Jack Johnson Concert

Last Friday my friend Glenda came up from Springfield for a visit. We went to the Jack Johnson concert that night at Sandstone (or whatever it is called now). It is just miles away from my house in Bonner. It was a interesting mix in the crowd; some younger trendy people, families, pot smoking hippies and some grey haired folks. It was a pretty big crowd. This picture is about 2 hours before Jack came on and the quarters got closer and closer. It was fun to people watch. We saw an interesting site of a mom breast feeding a 2 year old while drinking a 24 ounce can of beer. During the main part of the concert there was some very enthusiastic and intoxicated hippies dancing behind me and I almost caught a kick in the back of the head. Yes, kicking was part of her very entertaining dancing. My only complaint is that it was freezing and that we were sitting on the ponchos on the ground. Can you believe the middle of August and it was cold? The concert was pretty good, not the best I have been to but, it was nice just to be outside, sitting, talking with Glenda and nothing to do but just be there.

Glenda looks like a movie star here. I, on the other hand, do not.
