Sometimes I ask Drew what he wants for breakfast and the last Monday he said cake. It was just after Jilli's birthday party so he must of had cake on the brain. I asked him what kind of cake. He said "good boy cake." I said "you think you should get a cake for being a good boy". He replied "yeah." I told him "that's silly." We moved on that morning with a more appropriate breakfast and he didn't mention it anymore. I told Andy about the whole good boy cake conversation and he said he would eat cake if we made it. So Friday Drew and I made a cake, yellow with chocolate icing and sprinkles. Drew loves to cook with mama, so he was excited. I told him we were making a good boy cake and he would tell me "that's silly." I think that it is funny that he remembers my response multiple days later. It reminds me that he is really listening to everything I say. Drew and I made the cake, daddy and Drew iced the cake and Drew added the sprinkles. He would say "sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle" with every shake. As you can see he is not so great at evenly distributing them, oh well.
