Visiting the Court House

Andy finished his summer internship with the Wyandotte County Prosecutor's Office last Friday, yeah. But he forgot his ID to turn back in, so we made a trip to the court house. The kids and I had planned to make a trip to visit him at work this summer, but never made it. I wanted to see where he was working and I think it was good for Drew to visualize it too. If you asked him where daddy worked, he would say "at the court house" but I doubt that he really knew what a court house was. Now he does.
I think some of the people at the office wanted to meet his family also. There was one secretary who told Andy to bring his kids by for a visit and when she had Jilli bean in her arms she was all smiles. Who wouldn't be? Then the wiggle worm wanted down and the minute her feet hit the floor she sprinted into the boss's office and everyone got a good giggle out of that.
Now we have two week of rest and relaxation before the semester begins. Ha Ha - poor Andy has the world's longest honey-do list to attack these next couple of weeks. So much for rest.
