Jillian Swimming and Singing

Thursday morning Jillian and I ran some errand, including mailing her birthday invites and visiting her new school. She was a little clingy to me at first, but warmed up pretty quick. The teachers ask if she is liked baby dolls and I said not really, she loves balls. So most of the time she spent throwing and kicking balls with the two little boys in the class. After our visit we headed to Tonganoxie to the pool. Tonganoxie is about 10 -15 minutes from us. I chose to go there because only the toddler pool is open in the mornings, so there wasn't tons of older kids running around.
Jillian carrying Al to the pool. Al accidentally got left there, oops!
Jillian's cutie swim suit was a gift from her Aunt Tammy. She is so good to my kids.
Jillian made a little friend at the pool.
Getting sprayed.
She did pretty well in the water. At first she ran into the pool and fell and took on some water. After that she was a little more timid. She liked sitting on the edge and kicking her feet.
Tough work, playing at the pool.
Working on her muscles.
Time for some shade and a snack.
Cheese.

Lately Jillian has been singing and it is the cutest. In the videos below she is a little preoccupied with her raisins, but still cute. She sings to her Backyardigans CD all the time. The first song is Eureka and before they even start sing, just as the intro is playing she will start singing "ahhh."
This girl loves to sing and dance.

Last Friday at Bryce's she started singing I told you so by Carrie Underwood, while the video was playing on the TV. It was really sweet. I think Uncle Bryce and Aunt Tammy got a kick out of it.
