Baby Claire's Baptism

Sunday morning after a full and long Saturday, the Roberts family all got up, ate, bathed and dressed and made it to the church on time. Thank goodness.

Of course baby Claire was perfect. Not a peep during the baptism or during the entire service. I am beginning to wonder if this girl ever cries.

Of course Drew has his best buddy, Kyle's hand. I don't know if Drew noticed or if someone told him, but he told me that his and Kyle's pants match.

Okay maybe she does cry. Claire was ready for a nap. This is the first time Drew's has "held" her and he didn't even care that she was crying. You can just see the love on his face.

Drew was laying next to Claire and I told him to talk to her. So he does and in a gentle quiet voice he says "hey baby Claire guess what........ chicken butt." I got a good chuckle out of that one.
